Metal Mondays are now every week! Come to White Whale Craft Ales on any Monday of the month to indulge in your favorite metal alongside Savannah's best selection of craft beers.
The themes cycle by week of the month. Requests are permitted, and good recommendations will find a permanent place on the playlist for each week.
- Week 1: Heavy, Doom, Sludge, Stoner, and Proto-Black. Think "sounds of the 80s" - doesn't have to be from the 80s per se, just adjacent to the sounds of the time.
- Week 2: Thrash, Industrial, Hardcore, Alternative, and Nu. Akin to the prior week, this would be "sounds of the 90s/00s". Anyone requesting Limp Bizkit will politely - but firmly - be asked to leave.
- Week 3: DEATH METAL. This can also include extreme, grind, and a small fraction of deathcore and progressive. A very small fraction.
- Week 4: Black Metal. The way our Lord intended.
- Week 5: Dealer's Choice
Come to think of it, every week is dealer's choice. Any sudden deviation into black metal on Weeks 1-3 is an assumed risk.
