This is the first event I’m hosting as the new organizer of Blerds of San Diego, and I’m excited to get things rolling!
We’ll be meeting at Coin-Op Game Room in North Park for a casual meet-and-greet. Coin-Op has all the classics—arcade cabinets, pinball, retro games—so it’s the perfect nerdy backdrop for us to hang out, connect, and start building community.
The goal of this night is simple:
- Meet other Black nerds in San Diego
- Share what you’re into (anime, comics, gaming, sci-fi, cosplay—anything goes!)
- Play some games, grab a drink, and have fun
This is also the first step in getting this group on a regular schedule of events, so your ideas and input will help shape what comes next.
