Blerds go to the Arcade

This is the first event I’m hosting as the new organizer of Blerds of San Diego, and I’m excited to get things rolling!

We’ll be meeting at Coin-Op Game Room in North Park for a casual meet-and-greet. Coin-Op has all the classics—arcade cabinets, pinball, retro games—so it’s the perfect nerdy backdrop for us to hang out, connect, and start building community.

The goal of this night is simple:

• Meet other Black nerds in San Diego
• Share what you’re into (anime, comics, gaming, sci-fi, cosplay—anything goes!)
• Play some games, grab a drink, and have fun

This is also the first step in getting this group on a regular schedule of events, so your ideas and input will help shape what comes next.
