Atheist debater **Ronald McCullough** and Theist debater **Rev Al Saulsberry** will go head-to-head on the bold and timely question: *Are Black people better off with Christianity?*

This is more than a clash of worldviews—it's a critical conversation about culture, identity, and the future of belief in Black America.

**Bio Rev. Al Saulsberry:**

**Rev. Al Saulsberry has been leading Greater New Testament Church since 2001, following 16 years of service as assistant pastor under the leadership of his late father, Rev. Rubie Saulsberry. He began preaching in 1983 and studied at Moody Bible Institute.**

**Alongside his pastoral work, Albert built a successful career in information technology. After graduating from Control Data Institute, he contributed to major projects, including the automation of the Chicago Public Library, and later worked at IBM. He eventually stepped away from the tech world to focus on family and community.**

**Albert now co-owns a business with his wife of 37 years, Michelle. Together, they’ve raised three remarkable children: Daniel, a naval officer and entrepreneur; Amanda, a published author; and Jordan, a talented visual artist whose recent work includes a commissioned series for a downtown Chicago office.**

**Greater New Testament Church is grounded in a simple, action-driven mission: Live, Give, Share — live a life of growth and purpose, give back through acts of service, and share your journey with others.**

**Bio Ronald McCullough:**

**Ronald McCullough is a seasoned professional in the financial and insurance industry with over 15 years of experience. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Austin Peay State University and currently holds an MBA in Finance. A committed public servant, Ronald also serves as a Commissioner in his village and is actively engaged in local politics and civic life.**




**He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where he leads the Sigma Beta Club, a mentoring program for young men. Passionate about critical thinking and youth development, Ronald draws from his own journey—having deconstructed from religion two decades ago—to advocate for reason, ethics, and human-centered values. He has lived openly as a secular humanist and atheist for 20 years and is a current member of Black Nonbelievers Chitown. As a frequent speaker and debater, he brings thoughtful analysis and a firm commitment to truth, justice, and community empowerment.**
