What we’re about

Welcome to Black on the Spectrum Meetup, a peer-led group focused on connecting and supporting individuals within the Black community who identify as neuro-diverse or neuro-divergent. This is a space by us and for us, where we uplift and empower each other through shared experiences, community care, and real connection.

We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment to share stories, resources, and interests related to the neurodiversity spectrum. Whether you are on the autism spectrum, have ADHD, or identify with another neurodivergent identity, all are welcome to join us in exploring and celebrating the unique perspectives and strengths that shape our community.

Let’s come together as peers—to learn from one another, build a supportive network, and journey together toward deeper self-acceptance and understanding.

Profile Photo Policy
To help maintain a connected and intentional community, all members of Black on the Spectrum are required to have a clear photo of themselves on their profile.
This ensures I can easily recognize who is attending events and helps foster a more personable, authentic space.
Avatars, illustrations, and blank profiles don’t meet this requirement. A real photo is essential for participation in this group.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to build a welcoming and meaningful community!

NOTE: I update the attendee list after each event.
