Onyx Coffee Talk
Details
Sistas… welcome. 🤎
There is something sacred about how we greet one another.
Our very first Seaside Coffee Talk is more than a meetup — it’s an intentional gathering rooted in warmth, presence, and connection. Once a month, we’ll meet by the ocean at Dockweiler Beach to slow down, breathe deeply, and build something meaningful together.
One of the most powerful ways to begin any relationship is with a genuine welcome. Across the African diaspora, hospitality has always been a cornerstone of community — greeting others with joy, sincerity, and the understanding that even a stranger is worthy of belonging.
At Black Onyx Sista Social, we carry that forward.

## ☕ What This Meetup Is About
This gathering is centered on the art of welcoming.
We will intentionally practice greeting one another with warmth — offering a smile, a compliment, a kind word, or simply asking, “How are you, really?” We’ll take a few moments to pour into each other, to make every woman feel seen and valued the moment she steps into our space.
We’ll also be mindful of our own internal narratives — insecurities, hesitations, guardedness — and gently override them with a spirit of sisterhood and openness.
This is how strong communities are formed.
One sincere greeting at a time.
