What we’re about
The name says it all - this group is for anyone who identifies as unapologetically black, queer, and adventurous. If you do not identify as both black AND queer/LGBTQ+ this group is not for you.
If you're into being outdoors, hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, traveling, being a foodie, or on a journey to bring more adventure into your life then this is the group for you.
Why so exclusive?
Well, there have been far too many times when I've found myself as an outsider in a lot of other outdoors meetup groups. I know for a fact that I am not the only person who has showed up at a meetup being the only POC and/or LGBTQ+ attendee. In an effort to create a safe space for other people like myself to link up I decided to give this a shot.
If you know anyone in Philly who might be interested feel free to share this. I will be scheduling both virtual and socially distanced outdoor events soon!
