Andy Teasley is a self described “Serial Entrepreneur” he has built and run many small to medium sized businesses in the last 40 years. Along the way he has always had an interest in real estate investing as the best way to build long lasting wealth. Raised by a teacher and a CPA he has always felt the need to pay forward the learning he has received in his life. Being a “seminar junkie” he has had training by lots of instructors, he took his first “guru” real estate seminar in 1980 with Ione Young Grey and uses his experience at these seminars to hone his teaching skills and to try to divert new investors into a local REIA instead of the high priced guru system. He has invested in many areas of real estate as the cycles have changed and at the peak of the past buying frenzy had an interest in over 50 doors as a buy and hold investor. He lives near Palm Springs and is a California Native. Andy Teasley will teach an under served section of real estate investing that still makes sense today. Based on his 20 years or investing experience and on his mentors much longer experience, this technique can consistently generate yields of over 35%.

Born in Denmark 55 years ago, where I went to school and started an education as a Carpenter. That was cut short due to a serious injury (I cut my hand on an electric table saw) so I studied Construction Management. Fell in love with a German woman on a field trip to Tunisia (North Africa) and moved in with her in Germany after my studies was finished in January of 1988.
I was working for a German architect on-site of a project in Berlin the week the wall came down (And NO it was NOT because of Reagan’s “work”, but because of Mikhail Gorbachev’s transformation of the former Soviet Union from a Marxism-Leninism regime to a Social Democracy). I switched job to work for the 8th biggest Contractor in the world (at the time) HOCHTIEF AG as a project manager in 1991. At the same time I was introduced to my now wife Jenny (an American living and studying in German).
In 1999 HOCHTIEF AG bought Turner Construction Company and I got a job with them as a senior project manager in 2000 in San Francisco, CA. The Tech Boom turned into a Tech Bust in the fall of 2000, and the division I was working for in San Francisco lost 90% of their costumers overnight. They held on to me until 2002 where 80% of the staff was laid off due to lack of new costumers. I work on a resort project in Calistoga for Taisei Construction Company in 2003 until I turned self-employed in 2004 where I started my own investment company (Boomerang Property Solutions). Since 2004 I have actively worked on about 30 projects on my own or with partners.

In 2005, Todd was on his way to becoming a financial planner when he had a phone call with his Mother about the state of her business. She was a real estate appraiser and was so busy doing appraisals for all the people buying new homes and refinancing their old mortgages; that she was turning away 7 additional appraisal assignments a week! At that time, an appraisal would cost an average of $350. Todd, seeing an opportunity, asked if he could help out by doing everything else related to her business while she focused solely on the appraisal work so she could pick up a few additional appraisal assignments a week. Todd's Mom also saw an opportunity to take on a few appraiser trainees to handle the additional load of more appraisal assignments. Fast forward a year and Todd had learned quite a bit about real estate and wanted to buy a house to flip. He bought a program for buying foreclosures at public auctions and began immediately looking for a house to buy. Going every day to the auction with cashier's checks in hand, it took him 6 months to finally win a bid to buy a house. Todd was able to flip the house in January of 2007 -- just in time before the local real estate market crashed. As prices began to drop, Todd noticed the rents weren't dropping while house prices were, so in December 2007, he bought his first rental property. He continued buying rental properties until 2011 when he was presented with an opportunity to start a hard money lending company with an associate of his. In 2013, after successfully running that hard money lending company, Todd started his own hard money lending company. In 2014, Todd and his business partner, Stephen McKee, started the Inland Empire Real Estate Investment Club which quickly became Southern California's top real estate investment club. Stephen and Todd also continued flipping properties. Now, Todd and Stephen are primarily focused on their latest venture, Back Porch Homes, a pre-fab ADU & Tiny Home manufacturer.

Steve pursued his passion in life by applying his love of research and writing in successfully obtaining a degree in Legal Studies from Utah Valley University. In pursuing his degree, Steve successfully qualified for the Dean’s List in each semester. Steve also completed his Bachelor of Arts, emphasis in marketing, from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Steve is a business owner and understands the benefit of proper asset protection, tax reduction strategies, and business structuring. Steve’s passion for education has led him to travel extensively educating business owners, and real estate professionals, in the proper methods of reducing taxes while minimizing their liabilities.
Steve has been married to his wife, Kerry, for 36 years. They are the parents of 8 children ranging in age from 34 to 19. Their youngest child was born with Down Syndrome which has created a unique culture for the children who are now all pursuing careers in the medal, legal, or educational fields with an emphasis on helping those with special needs.
