Pauli Murray (1910-1985) was an activist, a lawyer, a poet, and an Episcopalian priest. She spent her early life in Durham, NC, before moving to New York. Throughout her life, she fought for women's rights and worked to end racial discrimination. The session will be led by Angela Mason, a historian who works to bring the Black experience to the public.
