What we’re about

This is a group open to all and dedicated to the love of live, Black-centered theatre. From the great playwrights as August Wilson, Lorraine Hansberry, and Ntozake Shange, to the great performers as Paul Robeson, Lena Horne, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, Black Theatre has a long, rich history in America. Black Theatre Lovers will be hosting meetups in the guise of attendance at entertaining and educational productions, with a followup dinner discussion nearby. Members are encouraged to post Black-centered productions.
