What we’re about

Women and the Sacred Arts is a rite foR women to explore, express, and develop their experience and understanding of spirituality as women. The Sacred lies within all things, and the Arts we refer to honor that.
Rite refers to the act of ceremony, and ceremony and ritual will be the foundation for empowerment and transformation within Women and the Sacred Arts.
This transformation requires each woman to be willing to invest time and energy toward her change.
The focus is on You and your empowerment. So there will be self-study and assignments individually and as a core group that will provide opportunities for you to present your work.

You are already everything you need, and you come to the circle with talents and gifts and will be fully supported to step into your skills and talents to share them with the core and the community.

There are 12 Modules, and each Module is developed with ritual and ceremony as its framework for self-transformation.
Each Module provides experiential workshop activities that require both group and individual participation. Through rituals, altar-building, chants, songs, journal writing, ritual tool creation, presentations, and participation expectations, you will be provided a theoretical understanding and practical application to what we are learning.

The learning will be fun, and each Module is developed to correspond with the placement of the moon and the rhythm of the cycles of Astrology. The Modules are cyclical, and each contains a workshop or two, theoretical discussions including assigned readings, the creation of chants, tools, songs, presentations, or whatever else we are called to do.
