Join us at the skate park and come learn how to drop in a bowl, jump down a flight of stairs, and do all sorts of bad a** tricks on your roller skates! Shades of Sk8 (SoS) is a new Atlanta-based roller skating group for black women interested in skating outdoors and at skate parks. We will meet regularly at skate parks and trails around metro ATL for some fun outdoor roller skating sessions. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned skate park pro, this group is for you. You just need your own roller skates and protective gear! Come learn new skills, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors while building a supportive community of fun, free-spirited black girls who love to skate!
