Black Women Of South London

This is a group for black & mixed race women based in or around South London, who are looking to make new friends, meet new people and socialise.

Polite notice - no shows when you’ve rsvp’d will result in being removed from the group. If you’re no longer able to attend or no longer interested, please change your RSVP. Cancellations less than 48 hours before an event will also be classed as a no show. If you RSVP and do not pay the event fee within 48 hours, you will lose your spot.

We do a variation of things, and everyone is welcome to make suggestions, or host events if they wish to.

*brunches, lunches and dinners
*days out and nights out
*movie nights, game nights, activity days
*day trips, weekends away and holidays

This is also a great opportunity to network and make some new connections

There is a £4 RSVP fee for most events, this is to cover admin time and the meet up charge. This includes looking for events, contacting venues/organisers, and making bookings. It does take a lot of time to find and plan events and Meetup charges organisers quite a lot to host, so this contribution is just to help keep this group running. Some venues ask for a deposit to secure a booking, so if you’re ever asked to pay a deposit, this money isn’t for the organiser, it’s going to the venue.
