High Noon Ride & Picnic

Details

While we normally don’t meet during the summer, I thought this would be a great event for BWW to socialize, connect, & support our community!

Come out for a relaxing Saturday of African American sportsmanship. Black cowboys & cowgirls will be spotlighting the rich African American equestrian culture of the region.

This is a FREE event! The event is sponsored by Cowboy Murdock and will be held at 5200 South Payne Drive in Washington Park. The location is right behind the Armory (5200 South Cottage Grove) the event kicks off at 12:00pm.

Since I am not the host or organizer of the event, I have included the link below for more details. Cancellations, parking, etc will be at the discretion of the organizers of the horseshow. BWW holds no liability or responsibility for any changes, program setup, or location.

Hope to see you all there!

Don’t forget to wear your cowgirl attire! I will be in cowboy boots for sure!

I will try to have some signage/flag/identifier of some sort or try to cultivate a meetup space at the event (not sure how that will look with the layout)

There is parking behind the armory. Per the organizer this is a family & friends picnic, so please bring your lawn chairs and grills! No food will be sold at this event.

Since it is an outdoor event, don’t forget to bring your outdoor essentials: water, hand sanitizer, paper towels, rain gear, sunscreen, etc. you can also bring a table and tent for optimal set-up and relaxation.
