NEW LOCATION ALERT:
I am excited to announce our location for August will be Transfer Food Hall in Downtown Raleigh, Friday August 21st from 6-9p. Join us for a mix of popular and non traditional games, good vibes, and even better people. This location will offer a variety of food options and as an added bonus, also allow folks to purchase alcohol. Check out their website to see what they have. This will be our first time here, so I def recommend arriving as close to 6p as possible, as this is first come, first served!

Try to take over the world in a game of Risk. Make trades with other players and race to outgrow other settlers in Catan. Help your teammates locate the secret agents and avoid the assassin with Codenames. Or bring something fresh that you'd love to teach to other people. Whatever is speaking to you, the goal is to create a safe and welcoming space that lets you play the games you want, where you aren't the pepper in a room full of salt, ya know??

House Rules:

  1. Good energy: Meeting new people can feel intimidating, let's not make it any harder than it has to be. Bring warmth, joy, and authenticity. Take it back to the playground when making new connections was easy.
  2. BYOG: There will be quite a few games to choose from already, but feel free to bring your own to throw into the pot for folks to play or maybe even teach. venture off the beaten path a bit, though (leave Uno and Monopoly at home lol).
  3. Though not required, this is strongly encouraged to be a Phone Free Function (you like that alliteration, right?!). We are rarely present these days, and not only does being glued to your phone make it harder to connect with people, but it also messes up certain games. There will be an area where you can set your phone down if you wish, or simply put it on DND. We are looking to cultivate community... with intention ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Let's play!
