Blackout Visits the Amy Sherald Exhibit at the BMA
Details
Join Blackout as we visit the Baltimore Museum of Art's Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibit. Sherald is a visionary Black artist likely most famous for her inspired portrait of former first lady Michelle Obama.
We will link up in the lobby at 3 PM and start exploring exploring the gallery at 3:15. At 4 PM, we'll head to the exhibit. Note: purchase tickets for the 4 PM tour here: https://reservations.artbma.org/events/601/detail/68da7d65762f8d496d9eb340
Afterwards, you can link up with us at Sweet 27 Cafe in Remington, a partially Black-owned gluten free Indian fusion restaurant in Remington.
This will be a great time and we can't wait to see you there.
Blackout seeks to create a third place where Black Folks 25 years and above, woman and man, tall and short, introverted and extroverted can be free to be themselves, form deeper connections, while having all of the fun.
