Come with me on this tour as we explore a historically rich town that has prospered for over two hundred years. We will discover locally owned and operated restaurants off the beaten path on this walking food tour. Homage is paid to Alexandria's colonial roots, as well as its recently evolved food scene, as we experience both colonial and modern indigenous cuisine.

Meeting Location: Our tour departs from the SE corner of the Market Square Plaza, near the corner of King St and N Fairfax St, Alexandria, VA 22314. Our tour guide will be wearing a DC Metro Food Tours button.

Parking: There are two parking garages convenient to the meeting point at King and Fairfax.

Age Requirements: You are as young as you feel!

Dietary Restriction: Please let me know if you have a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, etc.)

What Should You Wear: Wear comfortable walking shoes and comfortable clothes as we will be standing for extended periods and walking for short distances.
