ABOUT THE EVENT
Google DevFest Atlanta 2026: Empowering Developers & Builders in the Agentic Era is the Southeast's premier developer gathering, hosted by GDG Atlanta on the campus of Morehouse College. Over 1,000 developers, AI builders, engineers, and tech executives are expected for two days of hands-on building, keynotes, and community.

Highlights:
- Google hands-on Codelabs and tech deep dives: Gemini API, Google Cloud, Android, and Flutter, with expert mentors
- Executive panels and sessions on AI infrastructure, agents, and cybersecurity
- City of Atlanta 311 Challenge: build tech solutions for the city alongside civic leaders and the Mayor's Office
- Day 2 Halloween Costume Contest (details below)

WHEN & WHERE
Oct 30–31, 2026 · 9:00 AM–4:00 PM ET

DON'T MISS: BREAKING INTO CYBERSECURITY
Our founder, Aaron Butler, CISSP, is speaking.
Breaking Into Cybersecurity
Fri, Oct 30 · 10:30–11:00 AM ET · SMECC Meeting Rooms A

What it actually takes to get into this field right now: why breaking in feels so hard, how AI is moving the entry point, which fundamentals to start with, and why showing your work (reports, repos, demos) beats promising it. Come early and help us fill the room.
WEAR PURPLE

We're showing up as a community. Wear purple both days so we can find each other and make it unmistakable that BlackHack Society is in the building.

IT'S HALLOWEEN: COSTUME CONTEST
Day 2 lands on Saturday, October 31, and DevFest is holding its annual Halloween Costume Contest. Bring your most creative tech or pop-culture concept to compete for official Google prizes. Purple cosplay strongly encouraged.
Heads up: no real weapons or weapon-like props or objects are allowed anywhere on campus. Leave the prop swords and blasters at home.
