ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Anklin Amadi
A passionate UX/content designer and social innovator who is making a significant impact on education empowerment in Nigeria. His desire to bridge the gap of child illiteracy led to the creation of Back to School Africa Initiative, a pet project aimed at enrolling out-of-school children from underserved communities in schools. Today, the project has evolved into a volunteer-driven organization that has impacted the lives of over 5000 children in Nigeria. Anklin's extensive expertise in UX and education has enabled him to create innovative solutions that are changing the face of education in Nigeria. He is committed to continuing his work and making a positive impact in less privileged African communities through tech and education empowerment.
Linda Ochwada -
A visionary Geoinformatics expert and working as Product Evangelist at Dealcode GmbH, who has made a mark in the tech industry with her entrepreneurial spirit. She holds a bachelor's degree in Arts (Geography) and a master's degree in Geodesy and Geoinformation Science. Linda's interest in sustainable and climate-sensitive entrepreneurship led her to complete an add-on master's program, EIT Climate-KIC. Linda has worked in various roles, including Managing Director-Consultant at AfroAI UG, Geospatial Expert, and GeoData Scientist. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda is committed to social impact. She has co-founded the Kenderaalala Women Group (KAWG), served as a mentor and Community Liaison Manager for African Women in GIS (AWiGIS), and coached at Django Girls Nairobi.
Samke Mhlongo
A sought-after international speaker, award-winning wealth coach, national best selling author, and women’s empowerment advocate. Samke has over thirteen years’ experience in the personal finance industry, and is the newly appointed co-founder of TWAA - a digital women's marketplace and networking platform. Prior to joining TWAA, she founded and ran TNC Wealth Partners - one of South Africa's leading financial wellness consultancies, servicing blue-chip companies such as Standard Bank and MTN. Samke is also the voice behind the Financial Wellness Feature on Talk Radio 702, and has been featured on international media platforms including CNBC Africa, Channels TV in Nigeria, and K24 in Kenya.
Catherine Park
After working in tech corporations, start-ups, and agencies, Catherine found her passion in supporting underrepresented people excel in their careers within the tech and business space. This began when she started an unincorporated association focused on projects to help young people into their careers, with panel events, podcasts, reports and more. In addition to this, she's worked with SAP's Business Women's Network, the Girl's Network, and ran the social start-up's, Circl's, community of underrepresented young people and professionals and more.
Nana Owusu
Ghana born and London raised (West Africa in the house!!) My commitment to inclusion and diversity stems from my passion for sales. Typically being the ONLY Black female within a team of white men. Consistent cultural diversity and representation remain critical focal points within Tech . Having become part of the Colorintech Team this year , I am excited about supporting the Colorintech vision and the continuing promotion of BTF23 this year in London.
