Join us for a powerful conversation with Justin Harris, Vice President of Culture and Engagement at Pedal Movement. Justin is helping folks tap into Long Beach’s thriving bike scene. He’ll cover everything from how to get a bike to navigating the city’s bike share program, local repair resources, and how cycling can connect us to community.

Whether you're brand new or just getting back on the saddle, this session will help you roll into summer with confidence and care.

The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo celebrates and honors Black Cowboys and Cowgirls and their contributions to building the west. They highlight the irrefutable global appeal of Black Cowboys and Cowgirls in the West and the stories behind a sub-culture that is still strong today. BPIR also serves as a cultural event and opportunity for families to enjoy and embrace the cowboy culture, while being educated and entertained with reenactments, history highlights, and western adventure.

Where to Meet: Meet at the entrance at 2:30 pm so we can sit together and get prime seats. Seating is based on first come, first serve and it is difficult saving seats.
