When: Friday, August 8, 2025
Where: The National Museum of African American Music and Green Distillery
Time: 10 am to 7:30 pm

Get ready for an unforgettable ride with Black Nashville Connection (BNC) at our end-of-summer event, The Rhythm and Whiskey Tour. Once again, the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) and Green Distillery have teamed up to take your earbuds—and your taste buds—on a fantastic voyage—where culture meets flavor and the beats drop as smooth as whiskey.

Start your day at NMAAM, where the soul of African American music comes alive. Explore the rich legacy of innovation that birthed genres, movements, and sounds that shaped the world. From gospel to jazz to hip-hop, blues to soul—it's all here, in the museum dedicated to preserving the brilliance of Black music.

Next, we'll head over to Nearest Green Distillery, where history flows as rich as the whiskey itself. We'll go on a guided tour through this award-winning distillery that pays homage to Nathan "Nearest" Green, the trailblazing African American master distiller who laid the foundation for Tennessee Whiskey. As an option after the tour, join us for dinner at the world's longest bar at the Humble Baron Restaurant.

Come vibe with us—whether you’re rolling deep with your crew or bringing your special someone. This is your chance to sip, groove, and make the day legendary. Let’s turn up!

If something comes up & you're unable to roll with us, please update your RSVP, so others may attend.
