Nature Exploration Walk : The Northwest Woods

Join us for a guided Nature Exploration walk through the beautiful Northwest Woods of Van Cortlandt Park. Discover the unique plants and wildlife that thrive in this urban forest, and learn about the rich ecology of this magical woodland habitat. The walk is approximately 4 miles long.

Driving: Please note: parking is limited

Subway: Take the 1 train to 242nd Street–Van Cortlandt Park station. From there, it’s a short walk to the meeting location at Broadway and Mosholu Avenue.
