Beach Day at Asbury Park ( Jersey Shore)

Join BE-NYC for a fun-filled Beach Day Getaway to Asbury Park, one of New Jersey’s most iconic shore destinations! Let’s unwind together, soak up the sun, swim, play games, and enjoy great conversations with new and familiar people.

We will meet at the Giant elevators next to Shake Shack in Penn Station (34th Street) and take NJ Transit together to Asbury Park. The travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please arrive on time so we can travel as a group. If you decide to drive, please notify us in the comments section of this event that you will be driving, so we can meet you at the beach.

Please note: We are meeting at 7:30 a.m. to leave for the 7:55 a.m. train. The train fee is $20 per person ( one-way)

Public Transportation From NYC:

• Departing from: Penn Station ( 34th Street)
• Train: NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line
• Destination Stop: Asbury Park Station
• From the station, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach. We might walk or take an Uber.

What to Bring:

• Beach towel or blanket
• Sunscreen and swimwear
• Water, snacks, and/or lunch, or you can purchase food on the Boardwalk
• Beach games or books
• Positive vibes and community spirit!
