đź’„ Makeup, Because No One Ever Taught You
Details
Not everyone grew up learning how to do makeup. We love melanated skin exactly as it is. Bare face, soft beat, full glam, all welcome. This class is for anyone who has been curious about makeup and wants to understand the why and the how, without pressure or rules.
Who’s Teaching:
Led by Denise “Dee” Douglas, Aesthetic Technician and founder of Dee’s Beauty Bar, this 60-minute live Zoom workshop breaks makeup down in a way that is practical, approachable, and actually useful. Dee brings together professional aesthetics training and years of teaching experience, so everything is explained clearly and without chaos.
Who This Is For:
If you have ever watched a celebrity get-ready video and thought, “Okay but how did they actually do that,” this class is for you. The goal is not to copy anyone’s face. It is to understand the techniques behind a polished, everyday look so you can decide what works for you.
What You’ll Learn:
During the workshop, Dee will walk through an everyday makeup look and cover:
- Simple application techniques that actually work
- Product guidance for real skin and realistic routines
- Foundational tips rooted in both artistry and aesthetics
- There will be live Q&A throughout, so you can ask questions, get clarity, and finally stop guessing.
