Are you Naughty or Nice or Nicety?
Details
We are getting together to play Naughty Santa!
Wear your ugly holiday sweater (homemade or store-bought). It is optional, but there may be a prize for the ugliest holiday sweater (or outfit).
Yes, some gifts will actually be Naughty (Adult) gifts!
Limiting this to 25 people! Please only RSVP if you’re going to participate in Naughty Santa.
We are going to be at Bonesaw Brewing Company. You can bring your own food and order delivery to Bonesaw. Parking is free on location.
Game Rules for Naughty Santa:
- Bring a gift with a $25 Limit, gender neutral, wrapped and unlabeled
- Gifts can be serious, humorous, or NAUGHTY; however, an effort should be made to wrap the gift in such a way that the contents remain unknown until opened.
- Typically, everyone draws a number from a container. Then, each guest plays in sequence according to the number they drew.
- Player 1 picks a gift from the central pile, opens it, and shows it to everyone. The fun here is in the gift itself and the recipient's reaction.
- Player 2 can either select an unopened gift from the pile or be "naughty" by taking the opened gift from Player 1. If Player 1's gift is stolen, they must select another unopened gift from the remaining pile.
- Each subsequent player has a choice. They can either select an unopened gift from the pile or take an already opened gift from any preceding players. In the event that their gift was stolen, the previous player can select another unopened gift from the pile or select one of the opened gifts from the other players (however, they cannot take it back from the person who just took it from them).
- The game ends when the last unopened gift is selected.
Location is TBD as I need to scout some places for good parking (most likely in South Jersey). I’ll update when we get closer to the date; just wanted to get this on the calendar ASAP.
