#### Keynote - "AI, Access, and Acceleration: A Talent Strategy for an Inclusive Innovation Economy"

The rise of AI and emerging technologies has ignited a new era of innovation—but it also demands a bold, inclusive approach to talent development. In this keynote, Joyce Hunter will explore how we can turn the vision of America’s Talent Strategy into real impact for Black technologists, entrepreneurs, and students in the DC Metro region and beyond.

Drawing from a national framework designed to integrate industry-driven strategies, boost worker mobility, and deliver accountable, tech-enabled workforce systems, this session will examine how Black tech leaders, HBCUs, local governments, and small businesses can lead the way.

Key takeaways will include:

  1. How to align training with real-world employer demand in AI, energy, health, and cybersecurity
  2. Why short-term credentials and digital coaching tools matter for reskilling
  3. What integrated workforce systems can do to reduce fragmentation and improve equity
  4. The role of AI literacy, regional learning hubs, and WIOA waivers in fueling innovation
  5. Why rethinking ROI and performance-based accountability is critical to long-term success

This is more than workforce planning; it’s about ensuring Black talent is not only at the table but leading the conversation in America’s next innovation chapter.
