BLACKSTAR FILMS PRESENTS: Self Tape Development Group (STDG)

STDG was started by an actor in Brooklyn who wanted to source the brilliant minds of community and provide support where actors tend to receive it the least. Gathering once a month online, this group meets with the intent to develop their own unique sense of approach and preparation while receiving feedback for their self tapes. Fostering relationships among actors, building trust while speaking critically, and leaning into authenticity are all crucial aspects to the developing actor. This is a space to hone and master these skills.
