Let’s have a BLAST!
BLAST (Bi, Lesbian and Straight Together) Women of the Palm Beaches is a networking group for women, ladies, lesbians, bisexual gals, girlie-girls, butches, femmes, lesbian-feminist womyn, questioning, aces/aros, drag kings, non-binary theys, and gay-friendly straight feminists. Single, coupled, or poly, this group welcomes you. Our mission is to build the local women's community, share resources, and make it easy for members to set up events by, for, and about women in Palm Beach County. Note: Mostly Gen X and Baby Boomers, but we have members ranging from college age to Greatest Generation. All ages welcomed with open arms.

TONIGHT'S PROGRAM .....
Tonight we’ll be sharing lessons we’ve learned from previous and current relationships (partners, important friends, family members, etc.) as well as listening to the experiences of others… all with the goal of being better at relationships as we move forward in life.

TIME .....
We gather, settle in, and informally socialize from 6:30-7pm. The structured presentation/discussion begins at 7 sharp. Please allow time to park, find the MAMA office, and to get inside if you’ve never been there before. We wrap up at 8:30.

BLAST MONTHLY DISCUSSION GROUP .....
You are invited to join with other women to discuss where YOU find inspiration and how YOU create the life you want to live. Whether you are currently enjoying a triumph, working on goals, struggling with a block, pondering what to do, or trying to find your muse, come and share your experiences. A time for introspection and sharing... we will learn from each other's stories and strategies. Each month a different topic. Everyone has a chance to speak and to listen. (These sessions are facilitated by Sonya, who launched this BLAST group in 2014 and has hosted ever since.)

ABOUT THE PRESENTER …..
Leslie Wagner-Wilson, one of eleven Black survivors, escaped Jonestown the morning of the massacre on November 18,1978 by walking more than 30 miles to a nearby town with her 3 year old son. Within the next 2 days she would find out that her entire family have been killed. Today, she uses her experience to help others find strength, faith, and purpose in their own struggles. Through her speaking engagements and written work (especially her 2009 memoir Slavery of Faith), Leslie continues to inspire audiences worldwide with her message of hope, resilience, and the transformative power of faith and forgiveness. https://lesliewagnerwilson.org/
