Happy Hanukkah season to all! (This year Hanukkah runs from the evening of December 7 to the evening of December 15.) Come play the traditional dreidel game - easy to learn, and fun for all ages.

HOW TO PLAY …..
Each woman spins the dreidel once during your turn. Depending on which character is facing up when the dreidel stops, you give or take "gelt" from the pot.

COST: Free

WHAT TO BRING …..
• Whatever you want to drink & fun snacks to share
• Latkes and babkas welcome
• Optional: Grab bag gift worth about $10. "Bring one, get one."
• Spare change (coins) to use as gelt. Bring a few dollar bills if you have no coins and we can cash those for you.

MORE ABOUT THE DREIDEL GAME …..
The dreidel spinning top is a Jewish variation on the teetotum, a gambling toy found in many European cultures. Each side of the dreidel has a Hebrew letter: Nun, Gimel, He, and Shin... which together form the acronym for Nes Gadol Hayah Sham, "a great miracle happened there." Please carpool if you can! Not a gated community. Please park in the cul-de-sac at the end of the block, in spot G, or any Guest spot in the lot next to our building. We are trying to minimize cars parked at the curb in front of the building. Our elderly neighbors thank you for your cooperation!

Pass US-1/Broadway, continue east over big Blue Heron bridge
Pass Phil Foster, Lake, and West
Turn left on Park (Singer Island Health on corner)
Park deadends into Sugar Sands condo village
Look left - there's building 1201
Unit #6 is downstairs by parking lot
