Autumn Equinox Conversation: Rebalancing & Reaping What We’ve Sown

Details
Come celebrate the fall (autumnal) equinox in the company of thoughtful women. No Pagan or Wiccan experience necessary to enjoy tonight and find it meaningful in your own life. The moment of equinox will be 2:19pm today.
……….
TODAY’S PROGRAM …..
This gathering will be more conversation than ritual: Socializing while we have light libations, adding your personal items to the altar, then closing the circle by calling the corners. We'll talk a bit about Equinox symbolism, discuss rebalancing and harvesting in each of our lives, and celebrate our gains. If you set an intention earlier in the year, you can reflect on how that's been going and decide if you want to revise or keep the goal "as-is." We'll finish up by saying goodbye to the corners to open the circle.
……….

We will gather starting at 6pm to socialize, nosh, and enjoy libations. We will begin the program at 6:30pm sharp. No latecomers will be allowed to enter after the door is closed at 6:30pm.

SIGNIFICANCE of FALL (AUTUMNAL) EQUINOX
The fall equinox marks the astronomical beginning of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, with equal day and night hours. Historically, the fall equinox has been a time for celebrating the harvest, with many cultures recognizing it as a time to give thanks for the bounty of the season.
The equinox is also seen as a time for reflection on balance, introspection, and preparing for the coming winter, with some cultures viewing it as a time for letting go of the old and embracing new beginnings. Many spiritual traditions recognize the fall equinox as a time for connecting with nature, honoring the cycle of life, and seeking balance and harmony.

Come out of that dusty old broom closet! Together we observe and honor the holidays, the turning of the wheel of the year, and the ebb and flow of our own lives. We celebrate our unique individual spiritual paths in a safe and supportive atmosphere of joy and acceptance. The BLAST Circle welcomes all Pagan, Wiccan, Toltec, Fae, other earth-based belief systems, as well as women who are respectfully curious.
