SYNOPSIS …..
Classic lesbian comedy that has achieved cult-film status. Megan (Natasha Lyonne at just 18 years old!) considers herself a typical American girl. She excels in school and cheerleading, and she has a handsome boyfriend. So she’s stunned when her parents decide she’s a lesbian, do an “intervention,” and send her to True Directions, a gay-rehab boot camp meant to alter her sexual orientation. While there she meets a cast of characters, not all of whom are trying to “straighten themselves out.” Cast includes Clea DuVall and Melanie Lynskey (both 21 years old), Cathy Moriarty, and Ru Paul.
