Let's get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful nature trails of Morikami Japanese Gardens. At least three BLAST members are going to stay for lunch after the walk, so plan to join them if you’re interested.

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens are
largely ADA accessible, with accessible parking, restrooms, and main museum areas. The extensive garden paths (compacted material) might be challenging for some; wheelchairs aren't rented, so bringing your own or one with larger tires is recommended.

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens mission is to engage a diverse audience by presenting Japanese cultural experiences that educate and inspire. Since its opening in 1977, Morikami has been a center for Japanese arts and culture in South Florida. With rotating exhibitions, tea ceremonies performed monthly (October through May), and educational outreach programs with local schools, libraries, and organizations, Morikami strives to spread appreciation for the living culture of Japan.
