Axe Throwing with BLAST (Boynton Beach)

The BLAST Axe & Archery Club invites you summon forth your inner amazon and throw axes (hatchets) with us. Beginners welcome! There will be a trophy for whomever gets the highest score.

TIME …
• Show up at noon to pay, sign waiver, and join your team.
• We will have a dedicated axe master helping us.
• Beginners are welcome!

COST …
• $25/person - cash/check at door - pay Toni Jr
• Pay in advance if you can, using Venmo (@Toni-ArmstrongJr) or Zelle (561-281-9552) or PayPal (“send to friend” to toniajr@earthlink.net). Put AXE in the message box.

ABOUT TODAY …
• Important: Wear closed-toe shoes.
• Our lanes each have two targets, and two women will throw at once.
• Scoring: Very forgiving. One point if the axe sticks *anywhere* in the wood. More points depending on where you stick within the target.

ABOUT AXE THROWING …
Indoor competitive axe throwing is a sport that has taken off nationwide. Axe-throwing bars are designed to allow people to throw sharp objects (hatchets, knives, Ninja stars, etc.) at wooden targets. Often with drinks and, sometimes, food.

ABOUT GAME OF AXES …
Game of Axes opened in Boynton in February 2019. They have seven two-target lanes. Hatchets and big hatchets are currently available for throwing. They also have a bar that serves beer, wine, water, and pop.
