Mina Hartong (Olivia Travel, Joe’s Pub, New York Comedy Festival) has always done things her own way — from a surprise comedy contest win in Amsterdam in her 20s to a celebrated career raising visibility for LGBTQ+ voices through laughter. Now, with her first stand-up comedy special “Miss Personality,” Hartong brings her full self to the stage.

Filmed in front of two packed audiences at the Revolution Stage Company in Palm Springs, “Miss Personality” is the culmination of decades of perseverance, reinvention, and truth-telling. Known for her razor-sharp wit and heartfelt storytelling, Hartong mines her personal life—her Connecticut upbringing, her Dutch roots, her life as a lesbian woman, and her years as a teacher — to craft a special that is as hilarious as it is healing.
