SYNOPSIS …..
Desert Hearts (1985) is a groundbreaking film about a straitlaced East Coast professor, Vivian Bell, who travels to Reno in 1959 for a quick divorce, only to fall unexpectedly in love with a free-spirited younger woman, Cay Rivers, at the ranch where she's staying, leading Vivian on a journey of self-discovery and exploring a tender, honest lesbian romance against the backdrop of the Nevada desert.
