Morning Hike followed by Drinks / Lunch Poolside in the Poconos

We had so much fun combining a hike with lounging at an LGBTQ pool afterwards last summer... let's do it again!

We will do a "reverse" hike at Mt Tammany. Meet at the Camp Out front store at 10am, OR meet at The Dunnfield Creek Parking lot at 10:30am. (If you're coming from NYC or NJ, it will be easier to meet at 10:30am at the Dunnfield Creek Parking lot.) It will be an easy/moderate hike and won't have much elevation gain or scrambles. We will plan to finish the 4-6 miles in around 2.5 hours. All are welcome. If you're meeting us at 10:30am, it will probably be easiest to park at: Appalachian Nat'l Scenic Trailhead Parking, Columbia, NJ 07832. (The parking lot across the street / under the overpass.) We will start up the appalachian trail... (NOT the red dot trail.)

After, we will go have lunch and cool off Poolside at CampOut for the afternoon. There are a bunch of us that will be camping at CampOut that weekend, but you don't need to go camping for the whole weekend to come on this day hike. We can arrange rides as the date approaches.

You don't need to go in the pool when we have lunch and drinks over there, but bring a bathing suit and towel if you want to join us in the pool. Also, you can join us on the hike and not at the pool. If you choose to join us at the CampOut pool after the hike, the total cost for the day pool pass will be $25, paid at the front gate. The hike is free.
