BACK IN ACTION AT TK
Reminder of new protocols: 1) Don't come if you are ill or have reason to think you may have been recently exposed to covid19. 2) Sanitize hands before leaving your car. 3) Wear a mask when in close quarters. 4) Handle your own gear including washing it after. 5) One to a bench except for pairs of vaccinated paddlers. We won't be switching seats with one another. (We can still switch sides -- with masks on as you pass near the paddlers in adjacent rows). Note that the restrooms there might be closed so plan ahead.

If you have never gone Dragon Boating before, then the following
YouTube link will be helpful for you to watch before you go:

WEATHER CAN BE AN ISSUE THIS TIME OF YEAR - PLEASE TEXT 269 998 8884 or 561-389-0369 FOR STATUS OF MEET-UP* (You may be referred to another number as a different practice leader is assigned from time to time).

COME TRY IT FOR WITHOUT OBLIGATION!!! Blazing Paddles is a coed paddling team founded by Captain Will Murphy in 2000. We have paddlers from Miami to Port St. Lucie. We compete in dragon boat, canoe and other water sports, and members participate in all manner of outdoor adventures. No experience necessary. Just a good attitude, clothes and shoes that can get wet and at least 20 ounces of water or a sports drink in a plastic bottle. Please note that the meet up lasts between 1:15-1:30 minutes. If you have to be back at a certain time, please let us know before we leave.

Note that weather, races and other factors sometimes lead us to change the schedule so *PLEASE CONFIRM BEFORE YOU COME. ALSO SEATS ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE TRY TO SHOW UP IF YOU RSVP. *HAVE FUN AND HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE DRAGON BOAT

Please don't assume others are not coming because you don't see them signed up here OR that they are because you see them signed up. Members use other means to sign up for practices. PLEASE CALL BEFORE COMING TO CONFIRM PRACTICE IS ON. (We are emphasizing it because we do not want you to make the trip for nothing. We want you to have fun from the beginning.)

For each of your first three practices -- donations accepted but not required. Minimum suggested donation is $10 per participant to SOAR, the 501c3 charity that owns the boats.

If you decide you want to join, we will send you the paperwork. Annual dues are $300 but substantial discounts are available for early payment, and many members get credits over the course of the year for helping out. No one is turned away for economic reasons.

You can reach us as follows:
Stu - syoung@ybplaw.com area code 561 Phone 389 and 0369

Kathy -- Area Code 269 998 8884.
