RTP Meetup on World Blender Meetup Day at First Flight Venture Center

Blenderheads, CGI experts, Blender learners...come to the meetup at First Flight Venture Center, 2 Davis Drive, RTP, Saturday March 16th, starting at 11am, in the (big) Hutchinson Conference Room (first floor, visible from the main entrance ).

This is also World Blender Meetup Day. We are scheduled to give a shout out online to the rest of the Blender world at 12:30pm. (We'll join WBMD via Zoom in the video conference, smile for a selfie, and I'll give a 2-minute summary of where and who we are). I will distribute Zoom links and details so all interested parties in the area can join in even if you can't make the meetup...joining WBMD before this local meetup, during, and after. (I have another meeting later 16 March, so soon after our shout-out, I have to chop chop move along).

The meetup is scheduled to gather and talk a little before our 5-minute presentation, and stay about an hour afterwards.

We'll also use this time to talk about restarting the meetup to make 2019 more active. I'm willing to sponsor our meetup.com group for another year, but family health and other issues are forcing me to look for our next leader and organizer.
