Get to Know Each Other: First Meetup

Hi everyone,

Thanks for joining this group, and I appreciate your patience while things have been quiet. I’ve had a few medical and scheduling issues over the past few months that kept me from getting this group started, but I’d like to hold at least one meetup so we can connect.

I won’t be renewing my Meetup.com organizer subscription later in April, so this will be a one-time Meetup.com meeting for now. If there’s still interest in continuing the group, we can talk about options — for example, someone else taking over as organizer, or moving the group to another platform.

This meeting will mostly be a casual meet-and-greet. I’m especially interested in hearing how people who are blind or low-vision use computers, what tools you use, and what kinds of meetups or discussions would actually be helpful.
