Demetrios Zamboglou, Chief Business Developer Officer

Demetrios is responsible for the firm's international business. Before Lykke, Demetrios held Executive leadership roles at FXTM, zebrafx and FOREX CLUB specialising in business development, strategy, risk management, market-making and compliance. Currently, Mr. Zamboglou is a PhD researcher at King’s College London specialising in Behavioural Finance.

Thomas will give a detailed presentation of Oraclize products and services. Oraclize is a well known Blockchain start-up company who are currently working with a number of companies globally over the past two years.

Oraclize is an IT security company providing the most widely used oracle service for Blockchain applications - by using that service smart contracts can overcome the limitations of each specific blockchain and fully leverage the data coming from different context like the Web. Oraclize helps to securely feed all kind of data into smart contracts and is being used by a number of smart contracts/companies to solve real world problems. Since the blockchain is mostly used to foster disintermediation, the data on which smart contracts depend on assumes a role more important than ever - it being authentic makes the difference between a contract working as expected and one which doesn't: this is what the Oraclize guarantee is all about.
