We welcome Gabriel Cardona, Developer Evangelist at Ava Labs, building Avalanche. He’s focused on empowering developers to change the world with Avalanche. Prior to joining Ava Labs, Gabriel was at Bitcoin.com where he was focused on bringing tokenization to the BCH ecosystem. Gabriel is a big believer that we’re uniquely empowered like no other time in history to build amazing things which can have a radical impact on the human condition.

Background of Avalanche: Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. Developers who build on Avalanche can easily create powerful, reliable, and secure applications with private or public blockchain networks. Avalanche gives you complete control on both the network and application layers–helping you build anything you can imagine.

5:00pm PST - We'll open up the Jitsi meeting room for people to join.
5:15pm PST - We'll have Gabriel give background on what Avalanche is, how it works, and walk us through a presentation of the advantages that Avalanche possesses over other blockchains.
5:45pm PST - We'll run through a demo of Avalanche. We'll cover some of the interesting details and best practices of Avalanche. Then, we'll cover some current use cases/ apps using Avalanche.
7:00pm PST - We'll conclude our exploration of Avalanche and wrap up with any last minute Q&A
