Blockchain & Ethereum Tallinn - April Meetup

Welcome to Blockchain & Ethereum Tallinn meetup!

This is a monthly meetup designed to connect people who are passionate about cryptocurrencies.

The venue for this event will be the Loodusmuuseum (suur saal / big hall) - which has a wonderful decorated large hall, a naturalistic and completely different experience from our usual events. :)

The planned agenda will be as follows:

7:00 - event start
7:15 - "Chasing Satoshi - Tale of Multiple Bitcoins" - by Hans Kärtner
8:00 - casual discussion on crypto-related topics and networking
9:00 - event end, but those interested may join us to a bar after

In this months presentation, we'll dive deep into the very essence of Bitcoin. What are the fascinating stories behind the multiple forks in Bitcoin, why is it that scaling remains a highly controversial topic within the community?

How does Lightning work, what are the technical merits of Lightning, and how could Bitcoin transition into a primarily Lightning-based economy?

We'll be covering often unspoken parts of Bitcoin history, from 2013-2015 and see how the ideological splits in the community originated. Together we'll go through the exciting tech, as well as the unspoken dark side.
