26. Blockchain Meetup Liechtenstein

Liebe alle,
nach einem Jahr Pause seit dem letzten Blockchain Meetup sind wir endlich zurück und freuen uns, den 26. Blockchain Meetup anzukündigen.
Wie ich bereits erwähnt habe, möchten wir ein paar kleine Änderungen ausprobieren. Zunächst betrifft das den Ort: Wir planen diesmal etwas Kleineres und Intimeres und würden euch gerne in unserem eigenen Veranstaltungsraum einladen.

Wie ihr sehen werdet, hat sich unser Logo bereits etwas verändert, das soll die breiteren Themen widerspiegeln, die wir in Zukunft aufgreifen möchten. Die Blockchain-Welt befindet sich im Wandel und beeinflusst zunehmend auch unseren Alltag. In manchen Bereichen bringt sie klare Vorteile, in anderen bleibt sie umstritten.
Für das erste Meetup nach der Pause möchten wir mit zwei wichtigen Themen starten:

• Sound Money – also stabile Währungen, etwa in Form von Gold und Bitcoin (im weiteren Sinne) präsentiert von Mark Valek.
• Dezentralisierung im Bereich Datenschutz, z. B. rund um die E-ID präsentiert von Georg Greve.

Beide Themen betreffen unseren Alltag ganz direkt und gerade hier kann Blockchain-Technologie sowohl positiv prägen als auch kritisch hinterfragt werden.
Wichtig ist mir, auch diesmal wieder Raum für offene Diskussionen zu schaffen. Deshalb wird es wie immer nach den beiden Vorträgen eine Q&A-Runde und einen Apéro geben, bei dem wir uns weiter austauschen können.
Wir stehen derzeit mit zwei spannenden Speakern in Kontakt und hoffen, sie euch bald offiziell ankündigen zu können. Weitere Infos zu den Speakern und zum Ablauf findet ihr dann im Luma-Link. Wir wechseln schrittweise von Meetup zu Luma, da die Plattform einfacher und günstiger ist.
Ich werde hier auf Meetup weiterhin Informationen posten, je näher das Event rückt und freue mich, einige von euch bald wiederzusehen!

Dear all,
after a one-year break since the last Blockchain Meetup, we are finally back and happy to announce the 26th Blockchain Meetup.
As I already mentioned, we want to try out a few small changes. First of all the location: this time we are planning something smaller and more intimate and would like to invite you to our own event space.
As you will see, our logo has already changed a bit. This is meant to reflect the broader topics we would like to cover in the future. The blockchain world is transforming and increasingly influencing our everyday lives. In some areas, it brings clear benefits, in others it remains controversial.
For the first meetup after the break, we want to start with two important topics:
Sound Money – meaning stable currencies such as gold and Bitcoin (in a broader sense) presented by Mark Valek.
Decentralisation in the context of privacy, for example related to E-ID presented by Georg Greve.
Both topics directly affect our daily lives and in both areas, blockchain technology can have a positive impact or also raise critical questions.
It is important to me to again create space for open discussion. That’s why, as always, there will be a Q&A session after the two talks and time for further exchange during the apéro.
We are currently in contact with two exciting speakers and hope to officially announce them soon. More information about the speakers and the schedule will be shared via the Luma link. We are gradually transitioning from Meetup to Luma, as the platform is simpler and more cost-effective.
