Markus Hurschler is a good food entrepreneur und project developer. He studied international business administration (FHNW) and holds a transdisciplinary Master's Degree in Sustainable Development form the University of Basel. Markus founded Foodways Consulting GmbH and is a partner of aleno AG.

He will talk about innovating transparency and traceability in the food supply chain. He is interested in exploring the boundaries of IoT, Blockchain in Swiss quality meat production.

Sebastian Stephan is a master student at the Department of Informatics at University Zurich. There he is currently working on his master thesis on the reduction of transaction fees in the Bitcoin wallet "Coinblesk". He is also working as a research assistant at the Institute of Business Information Technology at ZHAW in Winterthur. His main topics of interest are Blockchain technology, communication systems and IoT projects.

Topic:

He will talk about the past, current state, and future of Coinblesk. Coinblesk is a Bitcoin wallet for safe and fast mobile payment that works with NFC or BTLE. Several real-world test runs have revealed shortcomings of Bitcoin wallets, which will be explained and a solution will be outlined.
