Improving Blockchain Developer Experience: Where UX meets Developer Tools
An exploration of Developer Experience (DevX). ##NOTE## You must register on Eventbrite for this event at https://improving-blockchain-devx.eventbrite.com We know there are many challenges around User Experience (UX) for end-users who are trying to use decentralized applications but what about the developers who build those applications? Their experience is often under appreciated. In this meetup, we'll dig deeper into what developer experience (DevX) really means, the state of it on today's platforms and how we can improve it in the future. We'll survey the landscape and tear down a couple of existing platforms. Following the talk, we'll move to a panel discussion with developers of apps on multiple different platforms about the pros and cons of development on each platform. --- AGENDA --- 6:30 - 7:00pm: Arrival and snacks 7:00 - 7:45pm: Improving Blockchain DevX Talk 7:45pm - 8:15pm: Panel with DApp developers Panelists include (more to come, stay tuned): 1) Viktor Radchenko, Founder of Trust Wallet (Acquired by Binance). 2) Amhed Herrera: Amhed is a Software Engineer from the Dominican Republic, where he founded two startups before moving to the US. He's been working as a full-stack software engineer since 2010, and on smart contracts and dApps since 2018. What we're about

How can we build blockchain apps that are scalable, easy to use, marketable to a broad audience and fully monetizable via real business models? This requires the intersection of people from more than simply development… it touches design, product, UX, marketing, entrepreneurship and beyond. This group creates that intersection.

We curate events that cross all the disciplines required to create successful apps and businesses on blockchain. It is emphatically geared towards surfacing the practical, hands-on knowledge we need as builders to create the apps of the future.
