Mitch will provide a presentation on the history of Mycelium, and then discuss in depth our data capabilities as a firm and some of the problems it can solve for DeFi, as well as the innovations it can help unlock.

Matt will talk through BOULEVARD's journey in applying blockchain technology to real world securities. In his talk, he will cover the challenges BOULEVARD has faced when web3 meets the real world, including meeting customer expectations. In addition, he will talk through the benefits of working with the ASX and their VMWare ledger, why defi meets tradfi can unlock real value for unlisted assets, and describe BOULEVARD's vision for private companies.

🌐 SPEAKERS:
★ Mitchell Travers - Head of Business Development @ Mycelium
Mitchell is passionate about transforming society through the utilisation of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. He started his blockchain career in 2017 working with bronID to build an identity, AML/CTF toolkit, servicing many of the early crypto start-ups in Australia. Leveraging that experience he went on to start and manage his own digital currency business, Aus Merchant, which provided businesses with blockchain-based solutions for payments, wallets and treasury management, trading, accounting and NFTs.

Mitch has recently joined the Mycelium team as Head of Business Development to lead the distribution and sales efforts of Mycelium data and financial service products globally.

★ Matthew Mills - Founder Boulevard
Matt Mills is a serial entrepreneur who has been working in the blockchain and defi space since 2012. He has built companies focused on harnessing the power of decentralised applications, and is passionate about making the technology mainstream. He founded BOULEVARD to create a better way for companies to manage their share register, provide greater transparency to shareholders and employee ESOPs, and streamline ASIC compliance.

🌐 ABOUT THE ORGANISERS:
Seasoned crypto-currency veterans going back as far as 2011 who attended and co-organised the very 1st ever bitcoin meetups in Sydney in 2014 at the Martin Place Bar, GPO Bar and SG Bar. Rob was responsible for relocating the bitcoin meetup to the Metropolitan Hotel after persuading the owners into accepting bitcoin and installing a bitcoin ATM. He also helped organise the very 1st crypto event at Hotel Harry in Feb 2018.
