Jack Berube is the Founder and CEO of MERGED RE. Jack has spent the last 18 years in various advisory and support services roles to the residential, commercial and corporate relocation aspects of the real estate industry both in the US and International markets. Prior to entering into the start-up world in 2000, Jack spent 8 years working for two of the top-consulting firms focused on operating efficiency in Fortune 50 corporations. Also, from 2007-2013 Jack served as a REALTOR® and Brokerage Owner. More recently Jack’s start-ups have been finalists in several pitch and business competitions including Atlanta Start-up Battle, MIT Technology Forum and the Harvard Real Estate Venture Forum. Jack also serves on the Digital Advisory Board for Assurant Insurance Company, is a TechEdge speaker for the National Association of REALTORS, the Real Estate Practice Chair for the Blockchain Chamber of Commerce, a Founding US Member of IBREA and Founding Member of the Forbes Real Estate Council. Jack attended the University of Tennessee where he studied Finance and Marketing.

Curtis Wood, Founder of Bee Mortgage App, is a licensed mortgage loan originator and certified blockchain expert born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Curtis is a serial entrepreneur who launched Bee Mortgage App with a mission to make homeownership more affordable for the average family. Combining his experience in mortgage lending, mobile app development and blockchain ecosystems, Curtis and team are tackling mortgage lending's most pressing customer pain points head on by automating key origination processes on the blockchain. Bee Mortgage App's patent pending technology aims to provide the first start-to-finish mobile mortgage experience powered by a virtual loan officer who decision making/data validation protocol is executed by smart contracts. Bee is building from the ground up a mortgage ecosystem whose entire loan life cycle begins and ends on the blockchain including securitization and hand-off to the secondary market.
