Liebe BlockchainBonn Members,

wir organisieren wieder ein Blockchain Meetup mit spannenden Themen. Wegen Corona natürlich online, aber nicht per Stream sondern als Online Conference, weil wir uns nach dem Programm auf Interaktion freuen.

Agenda

1. Einleitung, Blockchain Flash – Was passiert gerade? Bitcoin-Kurs, Blockchain in der Industrie… Was brennt euch auf der Zunge? - Standup Interaction – Community

2. Der Merge von Ethereum 1.0 und 2.0 - Marius Van Der Wijden
   Seit Dezember 2020 läuft die Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Chain.
   Sie soll den stark energieaufwendigen Proof-of-Work von Ethereum durch einen Proof-of-Stake ersetzen.
   Nun soll die Historie von Ethereum mit dem neuen Konsens-mechanismus verbunden werden.
   Dieser Vortrag stellt die Herausforderung vor, die der "Merge" darstellt und die gelöst werden müssen.
   Auch werden die die Ansätze und Prototypen vorgestellt, die während des "Scaling Ethereum" Hackathons
   unter dem Namen Rayonism (https://rayonism.io/) entwickelt werden.

2. Merge of Ethereum 1.0 and 2.0 - Marius Van Der Wijden
   In December 2020 the Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Chain went live.
   It shall replace an energy consuming Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism of Ethereum through Proof-of-Stake.
   The whole history of the current Ethereum chain shall be linked with this new consensus mechanism. The talk with present challenges that such "Merge" brings with itself and that have to be solved.
   Additionally the prototypes and/or approaches developed during the "Scaling Ethereum" Hackathons under the name Rayonism (https://rayonism.io/) will be presented.
