Blockstack is hosting a global speaker series featuring thought leaders and luminaries discussing and presenting on key topics related to decentralization, the new internet, dapps, censorship, token economies, and more. The tour will feature some of the biggest names, projects, and people discussing the most important ideas, problems, and opportunities in our rapidly changing world. We'll be making stops in cities around the world and want to meet you!
I'm excited to welcome Hussein Hallak - he'll be joining us remotely from Vancouver to talk about the trends he's seeing in crypto startups, the importance of education in the space, and what he thinks communities need to do to more effectively support decentralized projects and companies.
More about Hussein: He is the CEO and Founder of Next Decentrum, a blockchain education company. He's an Evangelist at Launch Academy, one of North America’s leading tech incubators with over 600 tech startups incubated and over $150 Million raised.
He's a serial entrepreneur and startup founder with over 25 years of business experience and has developed 20+ startups and mentored and trained thousands of entrepreneurs.
He's the creator of Intro to Blockchain, The Blockchain Course, Blockchain Business Fundamentals, Make the LEAP, The Startup Course, and the Lean Entrepreneur Acceleration Program.
He's also a strategic advisor for several successfully funded tech and crypto startups including Fintrux, Interfinex, Traction Health, and Peace Geeks. Marketing advisor for leading conferences including Fintech & Funding, Traction Conf, CIX, and Van Funding.
He's a graduate of the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme has a BSc in Electronics Engineering and has been featured in Forbes, BBC, Entrepreneur, Roundhouse Radio, and Notable.
