Sifchain + Metagov Seminar

We are excited to announce a seminar with Joshua Tan, PhD student in AI at Oxford. Joshua is co-founder of The Metagovernance Project an interdisciplinary research group working on the governance of virtual worlds. Josh is currently Practitioner Fellow at the Digital Civil Society Lab at Stanford and previously served as Entreprenurial Lead at MIT. Joshua has a Master of Science in Mathematics from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale University.

Josh will be joined by Sifchain's very own Jazear Brooks. Jazear is a computer scientist (BS Computer Science and Economics from Yale) with a decade of leadership and engineering experience working within the technology and financial services industry. Before moving into blockchain, Jazear held positions at Microsoft, Glassboard, Pixorial, and Madrone (a hedge fund analytics company). Blockchain became Jazear’s passion because it allowed him to combine his skill set in engineering and economics to develop novel crypto-economic models and trading strategies. Jazear also served as Director of Engineering at Swish Labs and Blockchain Architect at Thorchain prior to his work on Sifchain
